HENAN/HEBEI, China – September 28, 2025 – A delegation from Cambodia’s Coastal Masterplan Secretariat completed a series of industrial visits in Zhengzhou and Shijiazhuang to study the electronics supply chain and assess relocation opportunities under the Integrated Industrial Initiative (III).
A key stop was the Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (ZETDZ), a RMB 132.8 billion industrial hub home to global leaders such as Foxconn. Within ZETDZ, the delegation engaged Xufei Optoelectronics and Sanhui Electric, observing critical stages of the electronics chain from glass substrates to PCB printing and advanced components. At Gerybon Digital Technology, the focus was on low-cost notebooks and tablets with AI and security features, showcasing models for cost-competitive digital manufacturing.

The mission also extended to related sectors shaping regional industrial ecosystems. Discussions with Hao Xiang Ni, China’s leading red date and health food company, highlighted agro-processing integration, while Zhong Da Men demonstrated how bonded warehousing and cross-border e-commerce are reshaping logistics and trade flows.
During the trip, the Secretariat Director of Coastal Masterplan joined as a guest speaker in the high-level dialogue on “Financial Innovation & Cross-Border Finance Empowering the Henan–ASEAN Regional Market,” outlining how cross-border finance can be connected with Cambodia to accelerate effective Chinese industrial relocation.

The exchanges reinforced three key messages: industrial clustering delivers efficiency and scale; electronics remains the most immediate entry point for relocation under III; and agro-processing and logistics provide complementary opportunities to build a diversified, competitive base. For Chinese firms seeking to relocate, Cambodia presents a platform to capture cost advantages while tapping both domestic demand and fast-growing ASEAN markets. Our team is advancing III with deep strengths in ecosystem insight, data-driven insights, policy coordination, and SEZ policy design to ensure smooth entry and long-term success.
