Preah Sihanouk Province, March 18-19, 2026 –The Cambodia–China Investment Exploration Tour 2026 was successfully organized by Tnoat Media, with support from the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration and the Cambodia Coastal Master Plan Secretariat (MPSEZ). The exploration tour focused on showcasing the potential of Preah Sihanouk and its investment opportunities, particularly in the tourism sector. The tour brought together over 200 participants, mainly prospective investors from mainland China, along with local Chinese entrepreneurs operating in Cambodia.

As part of the program, the delegation visited the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ), where over 200 factories have been established. Within SSEZ, the delegation also visited the General Tires Technology (Cambodia) Co., LTD factory to observe world-class manufacturing operations and on-site supply chain integration. In addition, the delegation visited the 830-hectare ISI Special Economic Zone, which is being developed to accommodate the next wave of regional industrial relocation.

Furthermore, the tour included a visit to the Port Autonomous of Sihanoukville (PAS), Cambodia’s main deep seaport, where participants were introduced to its operations and the development plan for a 17.5-meter-depth terminal.

During the tour, the delegation expressed strong interest in Cambodia’s evolving industrial landscape, particularly opportunities for manufacturing relocation, supply chain expansion, and participation in future industrial zone development.

The exploration tour marked another step in strengthening Cambodia–China industrial cooperation and reinforced confidence in Cambodia’s capacity to host export-oriented industries within a structured and investor-friendly environment. It also positioned Preah Sihanouk Province as a strategic gateway for regional manufacturing and supply chain integration under the Cambodia Coastal Master Plan.

According to Cambodia’s 15-year Coastal Master Plan, the vision is to transform Preah Sihanouk into a multi-purpose industrial hub and smart coastal city, supported by integrated infrastructure and enhanced logistics connectivity.
